Adam’s Calendar of Joy and Reflection

I love the reflective aspects of video games. I like to have an active mind and gaming gives me a chance to think about my problems in unique ways to develop unique solutions. However, sometimes it is really hard to find the games which are going to have the best stories and which are going to disappoint. I also want to try to find unique games to share with all of you in the midst of this process, so I have created Adam’s Calendar of Joy and Reflection. I’m going to break down this section by month and take you all through the release date for Trails Into Reverie, as well as pointing out which games I will be returning to that I missed last year.

Disclaimer

Doing my gaming business part-time, I will not get to all of these games on the blog this year, but this is going to be what I am playing. I want to be well versed in all of the Legend of Heroes games which have been localized to do a couple of podcast episodes on the series itself because it is such a well-written complex world covering many games. This needs a podcast rather than writing because it is so intricate. I love JPRGS but also want to include some other genres for a diverse readership. I’m excited for this year of video games and there are so many projects which have not been formally announced yet which could make this the best year of gaming ever.

Final Thoughts

2023 is going to be an awesome year for gaming! For the next entry, I want to focus on some of my Game of the Year nominees which I did not get to write about before the Game of the Year post. I’ll do a couple of posts there. As promised in my goals for 2023, I will be starting a Discord Server probably some time in March, maybe earlier. I’ve got two major projects for my full-time gig that I want to launch by March so I’m not wanting to commit to having the Discord Server running and public by then.
